Stay humble, stay hopeful. Live Lokai.
Ever heard of Lokai before?
I found out about Lokai through Instagram. I noticed the bracelet on one of my newsfeed pictures while scrolling. It caught my attention and I looked through it.
What first attracted me about the Lokai bracelet was that it was colorful and different. I was wondering why a simple yet pretty bracelet can be so popular. As I read more about it on their website, I found out that it symbolizes having a balanced life – and that made me love it even more.
The Lokai bracelet has a black bead that contains mud from the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea. The black bead symbolizes that sometimes you will hit a low, stay hopeful.
The white bead contains water from the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest. Being high up can sometimes make you feel like you are on top of the world, but be humble🌹.
The meanings of the beads tell that in life we can reach high and low points, but we should have a balance, hence the beads are two opposite sides of the bracelet. Cool or what?! I love things that have deep meanings to it! “Find your balance. Life is full of cycles. The rest of the beads are clear, because we all have our own story of balance to tell.”
“Life is full of joy and sadness, and we can all relate to its highs and lows. I hope that Lokai will remind you to stay balanced and centered along your journey.”
-Steven Izen, Founder of Lokai
I also like how the bracelet comes in different colors every few months and the money is donated to charity for certain specific causes.
My Lokai is the Limited Edition “Water Lokai”. About 663 million people live without clean water and whoever buys the bracelet is going to be helping through charity. Lokai donates a certain amount of money to people who do not have access to clean water.
