Graduating From My Dream School

Happy Friday❤️

As promised, here is my weekly blog post my loves!

It’s crazy to think that I am about to graduate from my DREAM SCHOOL! I finish with finals in 3 days and I graduate in exactly a week from today, iA.😊

If someone told me three years ago (when I was graduating high school) that I’d go to UCLA and graduate at the age of 20, I wouldn’t have believed them. All the dedication, hard work, and tears are about to pay off Alhamdulillah.

I always thought that highly ranked schools were only for students who were super smart. I told myself that I needed to work harder if I wanted to go to UCLA. I still remember the days and nights I used to study hard and pray that I get accepted to my dream school. Over time, I realized that is all about how much dedication you put into it and how passionate you are about it.

I still get chills when I think about the day that my parents and I opened my acceptance letter to UCLA in April 2015. I will never forget how it felt like to move into an apartment in Westwood for the first time and be independent.

I will forever cherish the moments spent with friends that I made on campus and will laugh at all those crazy sleepless nights that were spent studying.

These past two years at UCLA have been the best years of my life. I have learned so much academically, socially, and personally. I have found out more about myself than anything through this whole process. The struggles I faced during my time here have made me stronger and the changes have made me wiser.

To everyone out there: remember that if you can dream it, you can do it! Never give up and stay positive!

I am so thankful to have been able to attend such a highly ranked public university and I am so excited to almost have completed my Bachelors at UCLA! I am going to miss this school so much and everyone I met here.

I can’t wait for what the future holds.

Stay tuned for more of my graduation photos on Instagram!!😊
